All Things New

Got change?

If you always do what you've always done you will always get what you've always gotten.

This is true to every aspect in life. While Joe is pretty adaptable when it comes to any kind of weather,  especially the cold, I often told myself that my body just wasn't made for the cold. Period. For me, after having lived in Colorado Springs,CO for 23 years, I was tired of cold winters and looking/dressing like an eskimo in order to stay warm during cold winter days.

The pet family:

As our relationship progressed and we eventually got married three years later on April 22nd 2017, we started talking about options of where we could live one day outside of Colorado, sometime in the future. Somewhere warm.

We are both adventurous and don't mind taking risks. So after many discussions and playing around with several ideas, we decided to set sail towards a warmer climate.

Having several pets was going to be a big hurdle to tackle when  moving. Of course our pets are family and leaving them behind was never an option.

This is where the fifth wheel came into play. No pet deposits, no pet rent, no moving van costs, but instead, packing everything up and moving us from a 2500 square-foot home to a 280 square foot tiny home to hit the road.

We then took it one step further! Why not travel for a while and see different parts of the country for a while before deciding where we eventually want to settle down?

Our initial destination was going to be St. Petersburg, Florida. It still is, unless somewhere along the way, an unexpected beautiful place captures our interest and could change everything?

And this is where the adventure begins:

Renovating the 5th wheel to get ready.

All Things New....!
