                                                                   P  E  R  U I've always been intrigued by this world and its cultures. There's so much to know and discover! Our latest random vacation destination pick took us to South America.  Our first time. The weeks and then finally days leading up to setting foot on Peruvian soil were filled with excitement of the newest Unknown to reveal itself. We landed in Lima late on a warm February night. Life on the road is different

A lot of things are going thru my mind tonight. Most of the time we stay at camp grounds or State parks. Tonight we happen to be en 'route to our next destination and are staying the night at a halfway point.  I am sitting here in a Walmart parking lot  looking out my livingroom window, not far from Lake Tahoe in Nevada on this beautiful sunny September afternoon.  I am reflecting back on the last 8 weeks of my new gypsy life. The life that my husband and I chose very willingly. Is it what I thought it would be? Is it what I was hoping it would be? It's what you make of it. I am a firm believer that we are not the victim of our circumstances. We make choices and if we don't like them, then we need to adjust them. Back to real life

               C HA N G E  Well good day, fellow humans. The day we have been anxiously working towards has come and gone already.  On December 14th 2021 we officially became apartment inhabitants. The time we've spent being vagabonds was a learning process. Challenging, rewarding and an experience we will always treasure.   But our hearts weren't in it anymore and we were so ready to become permanent residents of Saint Petersburg, Florida.   And with many things in life if things are too easy how would you appreciate the end result? Right? Finding a place to live with 4 pets was quite an uphill battle. There are size restrictions, breed restrictions, quantity restrictions. There are pet deposits, pet rent. You name it, they are tagged on.  But after endless phone calls, text messages, clicks on various websites and making Google my number ONE "go to" every day, we finally found THE place!
