A new business in the making

A new business venture!

If it wasn't for friends believing in us!

In Joe and my case, our good friend Keith is the believer and driving force that is behind my new Facebook page:

"Tiny Home Makeovers
By Ulrike ".

Keith was the reason we stayed in Las Cruces, New Mexico for 2 months. 
We property sat for him. 
We also had the privilege to meet him in person for a few days and we all just clicked and became friends effortlessly. 

Keith (in above picture with baseball cap) was impressed as soon as he walked into our 5th wheel.
Then there were posts made on 
"The RV Bunch". 
People really reacted to pictures of our renovations.

You put all of this positivity together and the result was...:
" Hey let's see if we can turn our love for overhauling, my passion for decorating and beautifying spaces into a business?!"


With that being said, I will share with you my very first video that I just made today.

It's the start of more short videos, to bring a little of Joe and I right into your home.

My wish is, that I can enrich your life a tiny bit at a time by sharing our knowledge and passion with you.

And maybe you or someone you know is looking for ideas on how to make their RV or any tiny home for that matter, a showstopper!

Our latest random vacation destination pick took us to South America.  Our first time. Creating balance

A few months have passed. I am contemplating what to write this time. What is the message I want to share by doing this?  Sure a blog can be used as a platform for so many reasons. It's tempting to get sucked into ones ego taking over and making it a "look what I can do" - platform.  For me I realize, it is a way to express myself, to bring a smile to your face and ultimately your day. But to also bring a smile to my face, because while my life journey contains struggles and hick-ups, at the end of the day its full of gratitude. In a post "pandemic" time, inspiration is certainly something we all crave without question. Occasionally I am asked if we're settled in, now that we moved into our new home. Walk-in closet renovation

When we started our travels August 1st 2019, we had created a walk-in closet in the back of the living room.  Downsizing was tough enough, so I at least had to hold on to something that was dear to me: My rather large assortment of clothes...well and shoes!  One has to travel in style, you know. The back of the trailer when we originally started to renovate. BEFORE we ever put in the walk-in closet. Then came the finished walk-in closet that didn't survive. In order to house these clothes and all, Joe had to build a clothes rack,  that stretched from wall to wall. Then we also had brought 2 dressers from our previous home, for that space. It was a good set up because it was all situated under the king sized loft, that was above. This loft was then used as additional storage space.
