Diversity everywhere

As we continue our journey and are now slowly making our way across the US from California to Florida,
it couldn't be more obvious how different each state is from another.

There are the obvious COVID19 safety standards.

In California people obey the 6 ft. distance rule inside stores.

In Arkansas,  not nessesarry!

In New Mexico we got to finally enjoy some dancing; outside at our favorite winery. It was wonderful!

Seeing familiar faces

The one way isles in stores don't seem to exist in Arkansas at this point. Leaving me feel almost normal, if it wasn't for the dreaded face mask.

In Oklahoma people mingled mask-free at the RV park and helped us with our broken down truck, Covid or not.

We just heard that Florida lifted its face mask mandate.

Can't wait to see what the new but also old normal of seeing faces will be like. Wait! Lipstick 💄?

I can wear lipstick again?

WHAAT?

The nice thing about traveling during this crazy time is, that we really haven't experienced any restrictions or close downs of any RV parks that we intended to use along our route.

What a wonderful surprise.

As I am writing this, Joe and I are are talking about what route to choose from here, Arkansas to Largo, Florida.

Things tend to work out for us in the end. I am not concerned.

Yes, there have been a few hurdles we had to jump over since we left California:

Extrem temperatures lingering at about 108 degrees in Yuma, Arizona and Tuscon forcing the A/C to run non-stop.

Then the overworked breakers had enough, protesting by tripping ALOT. Resulting in replacing 3 of them in Albuquerque, New Mexico, followed by a 2 day delay due to an extreme windstorm.

The carburetor going out. $250.

The low tire pressure signal in my car. Piece of cake!

The flying off of the exterior little utility door on the highway...!

Well dangit.

The day that we pulled out of the OKC famcamp to continue our travels just to break down a few hundred feet over, resulting in a 2 day delay and many hours of troubleshooting for Joe, followed by $ 160 in new parts and his mechanic skills tested to the core!

Whether it is a pandemic or parts flying off the trailer, so far we've mastered hurdles, small and well,  a little bigger.

With our trailer, filled with love, named O'Malley,  Peanut,  Crazy Bird and Maggie, ........

......we continue to focus on the beautiful things life has to offer and appreciate the little bumps for what they are:

 Little.
