When it feels like home
If you RV you might have experienced this feeling. If you are not an RV'er what I am about to talk about might ring true to you when you vacation at a new place. I am the planner and the person in our relationship that seeks out new places to visit. In the past I was the one finding vacation destinations and the best deals, the best prices for our budget. Over time I noticed that once we would get to that spot that I booked, I still wasn't done comparing. There was always better accommodations, better locations within the area. To this day I still catch myself doing this and I tell myself to stop! Sometimes this interferes with the actual experience and it is counter productive, isn't it? We have now been here in this beautiful spot in southern California for almost 3 months. I look back at the reservations I originally had, the little war in my head that I just told you about.
